David Clow, Deputy CIO, District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department
David Clow is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Deputy Director for the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Technical and Analytical Services Bureau (TASB). MPD-TASB supports the 6th largest police force in the United States, with over 4,500 employees, 3,800 of which are Sworn law enforcement officers. The IT staff of over 100 IT professionals manages IT infrastructure, CCTV, Body Worn Cameras, applications development, data warehousing, business intelligence, telecom, and help desk client support for those who protect and serve the District. Before joining MPD in 2019 he worked as a telecommunications and IT professional for the District of Columbia since 2004 including fifteen years at the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) in variety of roles of increasing responsibility until becoming the Associate Chief Technology Officer over DC-Net, the District’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program.
