LTC Dallas Clements, Deputy Director, Domestic Operations Branch, Tennesee National Guard
Lieutenant Colonel Dallas Clements has served as an officer of the United States Army for 19 years working numerous roles in the communications and Military Police. He is currently the Deputy Director of Military Support (DOMS) for the 12,000 member Tennessee National Guard. As the Deputy DOMS, he focuses on National Guard support to civil authorities, disaster response, and disaster planning.
LTC Clements has supported emergency communications for numerous large scale incidents and planned events. These include the 2016 Gatlinburg Wildfire, the 2020 Belmont Presidential Debate, COVID-19 response, civil disturbance events across Tennessee and Washington, DC in the summer of 2020 and January 2021, multiple floods and tornados, and Hurricanes Katrina, Irma, Maria, Dorian, Florence, and Ida.
LTC Clements holds a MA in Emergency and Disaster Management, is a Tennessee Certified Emergency Manager (TN-CEM), and is certified by the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency as a Communications Leader (COML).
