Amos Chalmers, Principal Architect, Mission Critical Solutions, FirstNet Built with AT&T
Amos Chalmers is Principal Architect, Mission Critical Solutions, with the FirstNet Program at AT&T. Within the FirstNet Program, Amos Chalmers is responsible for working with FirstNet stakeholders and Solution Consultant teams in the Southwestern United States and the Pacific Territories. His special focus areas include LMR-LTE interoperability, mobile data communications, deployable technology & mobile security. Prior to joining AT&T team in 2017, Amos spent 20 years working in public safety technology for the Phoenix Fire Department and retired as the Deputy Chief over their regional dispatch and deployment organization. Since joining AT&T much of his work focuses on delivering prioritized wireless solutions for critical voice and data communication needs including mobile VPNs, LMR-LTE interoperability fleet management, and workforce management. Amos holds a Master of Science degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in Business Analytics as well as a Master of Art in Applied Leadership and Management. He has been a speaker at events including IWCE, IACP, and APCO. He lives in Phoenix with his wife, son and daughter.
