Brian Albert currently serves as the Sheriff for Washington County, Maryland. Prior to this position, Sheriff Albert began his career in law enforcement with the Maryland Park Service, later transferring to the Natural Resources Police. While working with the Natural Resources Police, Sheriff Albert rose to the rank of Captain, as Commander of the Western Region. Additionally, he served as the Public Information Officer and Commander of the Central Region. Prior to his law enforcement career, Sheriff Albert served in the United States Air Force.
