Communications system coverage is often the primary driver for systems design and costs. In an ideal world, coverage would be ubiquitous, but terrain, site availability and costs often constrain system designs and limit the coverage that a particular design can provide. In this session we will demonstrate how to utilize geo-analysis tools, e.g., evaluating GIS layers like calls for services, population centers, social media posts, high traffic corridors, etc. can be combined with coverage analysis and prediction tools to maximize where coverage is needed most.
Takeaway
Which data inputs can be used to design coverage where it is needed most and is most effective.
