Todd Early (Director, FirstNet Built with AT&T)
Amos Chalmers (Principal Architect, Mission Critical Solutions,, FirstNet Built with AT&T)
Track : FirstNet, Critical Broadband
Format: Power Session
Vault Recording: TBD
This session will discuss how FirstNet® provides the ability to upload in-car and body cam video directly from public safety vehicles. This allows the first responder to remain in-service and on-the-street providing a mobile office environment which eliminates the historical need to drive to the office or a fixed location to upload video or submit required reports. Hear from public safety users who are utilizing capability today and how it has enhanced their operation, saved time and allowed for more visibility of in-service units on the street.
Understand the architecture used in current implementations for use at your agency.
Discuss "chain of custody" and other concerns related to the collection, storage, and use of video for enforcement (law & fire)
Identify typical storage and backhaul requirements for video
Application integration with PTT or other Apps (how not to clutter your device)
Demonstrate use cases and places where this has excelled
