MIoTy (massive IoT) is a software-based low-power, wide-area network (LPWAN) protocol that was developed to overcome today's and future wireless connectivity limitations. The benefits MIoTy technology are showcased in this session with case studies involving customers in energy distribution and public safety. The session will also show how MIoTy can be deployed in a hybrid environment, blending the benefits of cutting edge IoT with the trusted and accepted messaging technologies commonly used in mission-critical alerting networks.

IoT has the potential to change the way we interact with colleagues, the environment and the wider public, however challenges may slow down the potential growth in this area. With its best-in-class reliability and scalability, MIoTy is designed for applications in public safety, industrial and commercial IoT deployments. In this session, get an outline the architecture of the MIoTy solution and discuss how the technology can be used to improve the efficiency, reliability and connectivity of critical infrastructure and communications networks.
