On the heels of the successful Broadway program in Europe, the US is still operating their respective MCx systems in a carrier silo, independent from the others who are also supporting their own mission critical communications systems. This session will look at the technical and business aspects of the equation and look at a path towards multi-carrier interoperability, and whether we will see a fully interoperable, multi-carrier mission critical system for the first responder user community.
- What are the challenges of multi-carrier interoperability?
- Can we get past the business issues to achieve this milestone?
- What are the alternatives or potential outcome if we do not accomplish interop between systems?
