Mission Critical Push-to-Talk (MCPTT) devices and services based upon 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standards are now available to augment or replace Project 25 Land Mobile Radios (LMRs). LMR devices have evolved to meet demanding requirements for First Responders which include short power cycles, fast access times, noise cancellation, and loud audio to deliver mission critical communications in challenging environments. This presentation will:

1) Explore 3GPP Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for MCPTT solutions and compare these KPIs to P25 equivalent metrics
2) Measure real-world MCPTT device and system KPIs, noise cancellation performance, and audio loudness on live MCPTT systems
3) Measure real-world P25 LMR device and system performance, noise cancellation performance, and audio loudness on live P25 Systems
4) Provide an assessment of MCPTT devices to P25 LMR devices
