Are you a radio tech who knows a little bit about networking but would like to learn more? Are you a manager who needs to talk to your IT technicians, but don't want to sign up a week long class? Then this class is for you. The IP for Radio Techs class covers many of the critical but often misunderstood basics of IP networking and IP equipment. WiFi links and the different flavors of them will discussed as well. You will learn about how IP networks go together, the functions of the various pieces in a network, how routing works, and how to do some quick troubleshooting. You will receive IP network troubleshooting tools on a thumb drive as part of this class. This includes an opportunity to load them on your laptop and try them out on the network we will have installed for the class.
Be sure to bring a laptop that you can change the network settings on and get some hands-on experience.
