The value of critical broadband networks has become clear, supporting new functionality and interoperability among several systems, including voice, video and data. It can often offload tasks—from roll calls to location information—that previously generated considerable traffic across networks. In this session, learn about the technologies that support such cross-carrier, cross-network, cross-platform, cross-vendor, cross-generation interoperable/interworking, on-network solutions. In particular, the panel will examine the challenges and possibilities associated with push-to-talk interoperability in both the LMR and broadband arenas.

Explore the different integration options, their strengths and weaknesses and how to wade through the noise to help decide which technology or combinations thereof can meet mission-critical voice and data requirements. The session will also address how older technology coupled with newer tech can create a cost-effective transition plan for their agency or organizations to be even more resilient now and in the future.
