The Department of Defense (DoD) has made the strategic decision to implement a Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) solution set for enhancing cybersecurity within the DoD. During this session, participants will hear about how the DoD ZTA strategy applies to the DoD Global Public Safety Communications environment. Speaker will discuss how ZTA is applied to a Voice over IP (VoIP) network and applied within a ESInet/NGCS ecosystem. Participants will learn about implementing call authentication techniques that align with ZTA principals.
Participants will hear how DISA is partnering with the DoD cybersecurity community to complete a ZTA strategy that incorporates VoIP technologies. Specifically, participants will learn about how to establish VoIP call authentication and employing the use of policy engines to influence call flows between PSAPs. Participants will also gain a better understanding of how DISA plans on deploying ZTA within the DoD unclassified network environment.
Join to learn more about how the DoD is going to implement ZTA techniques within the DoD unclassified network!
