Major events of national and international significance are becoming more complex. The speaker will be using narratives and new suggestions taken from real-world experience managing the communications at major events; from an NFL Football Game to a State Fair, all the way to managing the Olympics Games and associated events. There are many varied players that form a successful major event including planning and operations, public safety, crowd control, access, media management, and other related functions on or off venue. Each of these units has traditionally operated independently but the communications world continues to expand in its significance as newer techniques are introduced and all new applications need more and more data. This speech will introduce the topic of a single 3C program of Command, Control and Communications for the entire event and will introduce new methods of interoperability between these operators, including those with high priority.
