As much as 3% of the US labor force quit their jobs during the pandemic, and this disproportionally affected women and minorities. In addition, there has been a culture shift as employees are rethinking how they want to spend their time. During this discussion, examine how barriers to equal representation in STEM and critical communications can shape the future of technology. Each panelist will share the needs they see within their organization as well as what is being done to address the challenges for both personnel and the technology itself. Hear what role gender, labor pool, accessibility, pay discrepancies, family needs, the types of work, all play in building the workforce of the future. Finally examine how collaboration within and across company lines can lift people up to their greatest potential, and how women can lead this important cause!
